- What's included?
All of our boats are fully equipped with safety gear (4 adult large Life Jackets, 1 Throwable, paddle, Fire extinguisher, Whistle/horn). 1 full tank of gas (6 gallons) is supplied.
- How old do you have to be to drive/rent?
Our minimum age requirement to rent is 18. Must have valid drivers license.
- Do I need Boater education?
No. boater education is only required for jet skies and boats over 10hp.
- Where are you located?
The boats are stored in Greer every night and will be delivered to the lake of your choice.
- Do you deliver the boats to the lake?

- Do I have to put the boat in the water myself?
no

- Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Split Shot Boat Rentals is a pet-friendly company! We do ask that you only bring well behaved small to medium sized dogs only. Must be on lease while at park
- I booked a rental and want to cancel. How do refunds work?
Refunds will only be issued due to faulty equipment. You will be allowed 1 raincheck for a further date if you decide to cancel due to poor weather conditions at least 24 hrs before your scheduled appointment.
- If it rains the day I booked do I get my deposit/refund?
The weather can change very rapidly on the lake, and in the summer it is not unusual to see a couple quick showers before noon, morphing into a bright and clear day by the end of the day. However if there are unsuitable weather conditions in the forecast and you do not wish to take the rental out, we will reschedule to a date more agreeable for you. We do offer 1 rain check. YOU are responsible for making sure you are piloting the craft responsibly, safely and maintaining awareness of severe weather.
- Do I need a fishing license for any of these lakes?
Yes. You must comply with ALL SCDNR rules and regulations
Greer CPW lakes (Robinson and Cunningham) require a yearly $5 fishing license that can be purchased at Lake Robinson.
- Are there any rules or speed limits while driving the boat?
